Going Green in the QC

Sitting home bored the other night I turned on the television to “Tom Brokaw Presents American Character along Highway 50”. He was interviewing a cowboy from Colorado who raises cattle organically. Coming from a background in the culinary industry I was interested in his story and it sent me off doing some research about sustainability and “going green.”

Mother Sentenced For Putting Her Baby In Boiling Water

A 22-year-old North Carolina woman who put her toddler in boiling water and burned his foot with a cigarette has been sentenced to prison.

Visiting the tri-Lombardied New England Patriots this weekend are the 5-7 Carolina Panthers and their embattled head coach John Fox. What do these three have in common?

“Mystery Company” Shops Charlotte as a Potential Supply Center

Legion of DoomWhen this story broke last week, its upside had a lot of people on board the idea. This prospect would bring $131 million in capital investments to the area as well as about 600 jobs over the next five years. This all seems good and well needed, but no one’s asking the bigger question here: What will be the long-term effect of having the Legion of Doom stationed here in Charlotte?
