Recently, the Charlotte Observer ran a story titled, “3rd woman accuses officer”. The title alone sparked my interest, so I continued reading. As reported by the Observer, Marcus Jackson, a 25 year old Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer, has been charged with three counts of sexual battery, second-degree sexual offense, kidnapping, extortion, indecent exposure and felonious restraint.

Normal day so far. Standard office job in standard office space. Cubicles, reports, human despair, and slowly ticking clocks. But so often on the way to the bathroom comes one of the most awkward moments between two human beings.
