NoDa’s Comic Relief – Charlotte Comedy Theater takes over Prevue
Posted by Megan Bradley in Restaurant Reviews on December 22nd, 2009
I found myself nearly choking on the flatbread pizza that Prevue’s co-owner, Dave, served me because I could no longer contain my laughter. The champions of the Improv comedy competition took the stage one last time and the entire place stood and cheered.
Due Amici – The Quest for a Good Charlotte Pizza
Posted by Katie Mackie in Restaurant Reviews on December 7th, 2009
For those of us who don’t speak Italian “Due Amici” means “Two Friends”. The name is quite appropriate for this New York Style pizza joint. Owners Poalo Cina and Art Cornielle opened up the place ten years ago and to no surprise found the reception more than a welcoming one from the locals.

There’s not a whole lot of restaurants that I really love going back to again and again. Eez Fusion in Birkdale (Huntersville) are one of the select few that I really enjoy.
Pumpkin Spice Beer: They’re Heeeere!
Posted by Jason Ehmke in Restaurant Reviews on October 8th, 2009
One thing I love about the fall is the amount of seasonal beers that come out. Every store or restaurant has at least one special beer donning the oktoberfest, hopptoberfest, or any other variation you could think of for the fall/halloween. One of my favorite fall seasonal beers are of the pumpkin spice variety. As I write this post, I’m enjoying a blue moon pumpkin spice ale.

Welcome to Charlotte Rage, your one-stop shop for everything Charlotte. This site is designed to be dictated by its user-generated content, so if you’re planning an event for your business, or even if you’re just starting out and looking to drum up new customers, let us know!
Sit yourself down on a wood bench and listen to 75-year-old men with drawn up fingers play the Mississippi Delta blues. Throw back a slab o’ ribs that have been smoking in the blackened, hickory-charred smoker all day. Make a sloppy pile of five different barbeque sauces (mustard-based and vinegar-based) and play Russian roulette with them with hands covered in spicy dry rub and crispy fat residue. You’re at Sticky Fingers Rib House, baby – the only barbeque joint that can come into North Carolina and rightfully say, “Memphis-style! What!”
